The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Business Operations Manager to support the Parts & Distribution Services and Supply Chain organization. Create and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Serve as a trusted advisor and partner with deep commitment to the customer and deliver business outcomes. Champion change and digital adoption to drive workforce expertise. Position can be located in either Plano, TX, Dallas, TX, Berkley, MO, Hazelwood, MO or Seattle, WA.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead, develop and motivate employees
Develops and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Builds rapport and trust among stakeholders and leverages the organization's dynamics to promote program goals by focusing on a shared vision.
Understands how to accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal network; understands the cultures of organizations. Applies this information in a way that contributes to the organizations strategic plan and bottom line.
Streamline and optimize business processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
Identify gaps/barriers and implement solutions to ensure smooth workflow enabling execution of business objectives
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement performance measurement systems to track progress and identify areas of improvement.
Lead cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Champion special projects and digital adoption to improve productivity (Risk Management, website enhancements, process improvements, reporting)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
3+ years of experience leading business operations for a large scale program or business
3+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices including Base Line Management, Risk/Issue/Opportunity Management, Performance Metrics, Customer Communications, Requirements Management, Supplier Management, and/or Earned Value Management
3+ years of experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment
Ability to build and deliver executive level presentations and coordinate and drive tasks and actions with senior managers
3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
3+ years of experience building a team and developing employees
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
Ability to lead through change while demonstrating positive mindset
Functional expertise and the ability to manage diverse and complex topics
Experience directly supporting and improving operational health & performance of a program and/or organization
