Job Details:

This position is responsible for assisting broiler farms with vaccinations, pulling blood and fat for testing while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• This position is responsible for the handling, pulling of blood and fat samples, weighing, and vaccinating of Breeders and Pullets (chickens) in the field.

• Responsible for ordering, issuing and tracking inventoried supplies while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• This position is responsible for completing paperwork in a timely manner and shipping items.

• Position requires the willingness/ability to stand for extended periods; walk, bend, stretch, turn, push, pull, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Team member must be willing to work in an outside environment that will fluctuate according to the conditions outside at the time; cold, warm, dusty, and/or damp environment with a high concentration of allergens present in a poultry house.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Candidate must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl to be considered.

Compensation: $20.45/hr.

• 3 x Rule: If you have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times you are ineligible for rehire.
• Rehire waiting period: 6 months or 180 days.
