Reporting directly to the Accounts/Business Manager, the Billing & Receivables Specialist will be responsible for providing full Accounts partnering services to the St Vincent’s Virtual and at Home team, ensuring well-supported accounts team functions.

This is a permanent full time position based in our Brisbane Group Head Office on a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Generating client invoices from Sales Orders, including any error handling
  • Managing the Government portal; lodgement of events and claims, and handling verification errors
  • Daily receipting in ERP & banking logs of payments (Direct debits, Bpay, EFTs, Cash & Cheques)
  • Generating monthly statements for clients
  • Reviewing aged debtors reports and recommending actions to increase recovery of unpaid debts
  • Assisting with escalated external and internal queries (Complaints, mail outs etc.)
  • Ensuring end of month processes are completed in a timely manner

Things that work for us:

  • Demonstrated deb collection experience
  • Solid understanding of invoicing processes, numeracy and data keying abilities
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to using multiple computer software applications
  • Tertiary qualification in a bookkeeping, administration, accounting or related field; or equivalent experience
  • Home Care experience highly desirable
