The Billing & Enrollment Representative 3 is responsible for determining any financial obligation towards room and board costs for iCare and Inclusa members. The Billing & Reconciliation Representative 3 enters and generates invoices for member financial obligations towards room and board, and cost share or patient liability, determined by county Income Maintenance consortiums, in compliance with contract requirements for long term care Medicaid waiver programs.

The Billing & Enrollment Representative 3 applies member payments and reconciles  accounts each month, documenting  any problems found during reconciliation, and provides follow up, including collection activities for past due balances,  that will lead to their resolution. Provides exceptional customer service, ensuring that all interested parties are continually updated about the status of their account. Corrects and/or updates invoices amounts, based on reported changes or cost share reports provided by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services  Documents collection efforts and reported changes that impact member billing. Performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.

Prepares documents in order to inform management, internal parties and external stakeholders  of the status of account issues. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Accounts Receivables, Billing or Collections
  • Demonstrated Excel for data submission/filter, sort etc
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Must be able to work during core business hours of 8:00am to 4:30 pm CST, Monday through Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's in accounting/finance
  • Experience with Medicaid Programs

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$43,000 - $56,200 per year
