The Billing Analyst I – Cash Application will be playing a major role in applying and posting payments to customer accounts daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply and post payments to customer accounts on daily basis from various sources such as EFT/ACH/Wire, credit & debit card payments and unapplied cash.
  • Ensuring KPI’s are met.
  • Investigate and resolve misapplied cash transactions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and perform root cause analysis.
  • Perform related administrative duties.
  • Prepare and create AR refunds, and other adjusting journal entries as required.
  • Initiate professional contact with internal customer service representatives and external customers as needed to obtain remittance advice and support other AR initiatives.
  • Assist with month end close & daily deposit reconciliation to the bank.
  • Assist with managing Cash application email inbox by managing cash application inquiries from both internal and external customers.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.
  • Documentation of processes and desktop instructions.
