Job Description: Software Development Engineer for Bigdata Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled BigData Developer Engineer with experience in Snowflake, Snowpark, and AWS or Azure to join our team for a critical migration project. This role involves ensuring the quality and integrity of data as we transition our applications from Hadoop/Spark to a new environment in Snowflake and AWS.

Required Experience:

• Experience Level: 3 to 5 years of experience with Big Data Development, with minimum 1 year experience with Snowflake Development.

• Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience with Snowflake, including writing and validating SQL & NO-SQL DB’s and queries.
  • Bigdata: Experience/knowledge with Snowpark, Pyspark, Scala
  • Software Development Methodology: Agile Methodology. 
  • Prior experience with Hadoop/Spark is highly desirable to understand the transition complexities.
  • Strong experience with AWS services related to data storage and processing.
  • Experience with CICD tools.
  • Experience with MYSQL and AWS DocDb and MongoDb Databases.
  • Understanding of requirements in the format of JIRA stories. 
  • Analyze and interpret requirements, design and technical specification documents 

Good to Have:

• Prior experience on EDA/AEDL framework will be a plus.
• Prior Experience on Snowflake will be a plus.
• Health care Experience

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelors’ or Masters’ is Computer Science/ IT or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of experience with Big Data Development along with SNOWFLAKE experience.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Min 3 years of experience with Pyspark, Scala, Hadoop and Bigdata technologies as a developer.
• Experience on AWS or Azure migration of data and services.
• Experience with SQL Programming, Stored Procs, DocDB, MongoDB databases.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and being competitive.
• Experience with Agile Model
