Banquet Server
About the role:
As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during banquet events. This includes setting up, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience that reflects Four Seasons’ standards of excellence. You will work closely with the Banquet and Catering teams to deliver seamless, memorable experiences for every guest.
What You Will Do:
• Assist in setting up banquet tables, chairs, linens, tableware, glassware, and silverware according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and provide attentive, courteous service throughout the event.
• Greet and welcome guests, answer inquiries, and address any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all service and event areas.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with other banquet staff to ensure smooth operations and a consistent guest experience.
• Break down and clean up banquet areas after events, including the removal and proper storage of equipment and materials.
• Assist in any hotel emergency or safety situation as directed.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.
What you will bring:
• Previous experience as a server preferred.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and calculations.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift or carry trays.
• Valid Food Handler Certification.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of wine and other beverages.
