Banquet House Attendant
About the role:
As a Banquet House Attendant, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down all banquet and function rooms according to event specifications. Your role ensures every event space reflects Four Seasons standards of excellence, cleanliness, and presentation. You will work closely with the Banquet and Catering teams to create seamless, memorable experiences for every guest.
What You Will Do:
• Set up banquet rooms with equipment and furniture according to contracts and event requirements.
• Clean and maintain function rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning mirrors, and shampooing carpets.
• Provide additional banquet equipment such as tables, chairs, risers, flipcharts, and other materials when needed.
• Retrieve, store, and properly log event materials, props, boxes, and other items from the receiving dock.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage rooms and ensure linen is stocked; deliver soiled linen to the laundry.
• Set up and skirt risers, tables, and other items as needed for events.
• Ensure all function rooms are clean and available for guest viewing, even when not in use.
• Follow payroll, safety, and uniform procedures in accordance with Four Seasons standards.
• Work cooperatively and professionally with supervisors, fellow employees, and other departments.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and assist whenever required.
• Attend and actively participate in all required meetings.
• Assist in any hotel emergency or safety situation as directed.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.
What you will bring:
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining Four Seasons standards.
• Physical stamina to lift and move materials up to 70 lbs and to stand or move throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and read banquet event orders accurately.
• Good teamwork and communication skills, with a professional and helpful attitude.
• Basic understanding of equipment handling and safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work both indoors and outdoors depending on event requirements.
• Valid driver’s license required for occasional offsite catering support (approx. 10% of shift).
