Role Overview

This role focuses on driving subscription business growth with corporate, institutional, and academic clients, handling the full lifecycle from marketing and lead conversion to client servicing and project coordination.

In addition to supporting the Mainland China market, the role will work closely with the FT global corporate subscriptions team and international partners to promote and deliver subscription solutions for corporate clients with Chinese-language needs.

Operating in a bilingual (Chinese/English) environment, the successful candidate will collaborate across teams to implement marketing campaigns, drive client conversion, and ensure high-quality project delivery. Strong teamwork, client understanding, project management, resilience, and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Execution

  • Implement marketing campaigns targeting corporate clients to increase lead generation and enhance brand impact.
  • Draft marketing copy, coordinate campaign asset production, design customer journeys, and oversee implementation.
  • Manage campaigns across email, advertising, and social media, optimizing registration and conversion paths.

2. Sales Management

  • Proactively engage potential clients to drive registrations, subscriptions, and renewals.
  • Participate in subscription product presentations, solution discussions, and tailored proposals.
  • Maintain client data and relationships, coordinating internal resources to meet client needs.

3. Customer Support

  • Operate subscription service systems to support registration, account management, and access permission settings.
  • Provide technical support and daily consultation to clients, enhancing their user experience.
  • Collect client feedback and support continuous product and service improvements.

4. Project Management

  • Translate client and project requirements into actionable plans, collaborating with Product and Tech Teams to deliver new features.
  • Participate in testing and delivery of key processes (e.g., registration, access permissions, data configuration).
  • Coordinate digital campaign design, customer journey and features implementation, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

5. Global Collaboration & External Partnerships

  • Collaborate closely with FT’s global B2B sales, marketing, and operations teams to jointly promote corporate subscriptions, ensuring aligned execution and resource integration.
  • Support overseas partnership initiatives, including joint marketing campaigns and channel integration projects.

Strengths You'll Need

  • B2B Marketing & Sales: Proven experience in B2B promotion or sales, with a solid understanding of client conversion and renewal cycles.
  • Content & Campaign Execution: Skilled in digital marketing, with the ability to write compelling copy, design customer journeys, and coordinate creative asset production.
  • Technical Know-how: Basic understanding of registration workflows, access management, and data tracking concepts; ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
  • Communication & Resilience: Strong client service mentality with the ability to handle complex challenges in multi-party collaborations, client feedback, and project changes.
  • Bilingual Communication: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to collaborate across time zones and teams.
