Automation Technologist

We’re looking for an Automation Technologist to help keep our global toothpaste production lines running efficiently. At Haleon, you’ll work with cutting-edge technology, focusing on designing and improving automation concepts—not programming machines, but creating smart solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
This role is perfect for someone who can think critically, act independently, and communicate confidently. Job Responsibilities

  • Act in accordance with Global Engineering Standards (GES) in the field of automation.
  • Define user requirement specifications and actively participate in launching new technology projects.
  • Design and implement improvements to manufacturing processes from an automation perspective.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of automated systems to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and optimize automated equipment.
  • Provide technical support and training for operators and maintenance staff in automation.

Salary: €1,890 (may be increased based on candidate experience) + annual bonus + 13th salary + other bonuses and benefits

Start date: ASAP

Why You?

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
  • Secondary education
  • Specialization: technical field, automation focus is an advantage
  • Experience with automation of manufacturing processes and maintenance of automated equipment
  • Knowledge of mechanical and technical schematics
  • Experience with programming and diagnostics of control systems (Siemens PC S7 – advantage, Simatic IT – advantage)
  • Knowledge of MES – advantage
  • Advanced level of English
  • italian and slovak language - advantage
  • Proactive and responsible approach, willingness to learn new technologies
