Reporting to the Principal Engineer at our Archbold, OH facility, local producers of La Choy, Vienna Sausage, Dennison's and Wolf Chili, you will develop and execute Automation/Electrical/Instrumentation (AEI) projects to achieve the site's key performance goals. Provide AEI technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving support to the site. Develop and maintain AEI work priority lists together with all supporting areas. Ensure compliance with current electrical safety rules and regulations across the site.
How Will You Affect Our Business?
- Provide daily automation support to Operations and Facilities Teams
- Execute automation-related projects
- Create and implement training program to aid in the development of the AEI workforce
- Align site IT and OT infrastructure, programming, equipment with current company standards.
- Participate in Production Cell Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings
- Active member of site Early Management (EM) or Preventative Maintenance (PM) Pillar Team.
- Support AEI Equipment Obsolescence Plan in partnership with EM Pillar Team.
- Enforce site safety, environmental, and GMP rules and regulations
- Ensure that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure completeness and quality of work
- Flex work hours, including to provide off-hours support
- You will be responsible for providing direct oversight, administering discipline, and ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures across their respective teams.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- 5 years of previous PLC and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) programming experience required
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a related technical field desired (Engineering, Electronics, IT, Programming)
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA, USDA, PSM, etc.) desired
- Prior manufacturing/process engineering experience desired
- Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment manuals
- Knowledge of electronic and electrical principals
- Knowledge of electronic components such as HMIs, Servo Controllers, VFDs, sensors, process instrumentation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word and Excel
Compensation:
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
