POSITION SUMMARY:

The Attendant is responsible for the delivery of cards from the card storage unit to the table and vice versa. The Card Runner is crucial in ensuring tables always have a ready supply of new cards. No prior experience necessary to apply for this position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the distribution of cards is performed in accordance with agreed secure procedures and policies
  • Accurate and timely communication with the Pit Manager to ensure the complete security control of the card storage units and replenishment process
  • Work as a team to ensure the effective storage and efficient distribution of playing cards
  • Balance card inventory of each card storage unit in their assigned area. Records across the card storage areas are accurate by completing physical checks on a regular basis
  • Consistently seek to develop an effective working relationship with team members and ensure a positive approach to tasks and duties as required
  • Comply with all departmental and company policies and procedures

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of Card Runner, the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; stoop; kneel; crouch and crawl
  • Some lifting and repetitive manual handling of card vaults is required

Working Environment:

  • Must be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environments such as, but not limited to cigarette smoke and fragrances
  • Willingness to work any time during a 24 hour/7 day a week period

Qualifications

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Daily pit replenishment is completed with no issues or interruption to the gaming floor
  • Key attention to detail
  • Diligently follow instructions from the Pit Manager or above
  • Abide by all policies and procedures of the Card Runner role
  • Work cohesively with Table Games colleagues and other departments

Experience:

  • Basic Mathematics required
  • Macau resident

Skills / Competencies:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective time management skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • High level of personal integrity and ethics
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
