Roles and Responsibilities:
● Responsible for providing solutions/recommendations that meet the specific business needs.
● Understanding client objectives, assessing technical feasibility, and providing recommendations to meet the business requirement.
● Identify scope, functional requirements as flag risk and suggest ideas on how to mitigate.
● Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams involved in implementing and managing solutions.
● Set technical standards, best practices, and ensure adherence to architectural principles.
● Mentor Young Talent within the Team, Define and Track their growth parameters.
Skillsets Requirements Technical Skills
● Hands on experience managing Incident Requests, Service Requests and Change Requests.
● Experience in large scale releases/deployment and change management.
● Experience with ITSM tools (like Jira, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
● Working knowledge of operating systems (like Windows/Linux).
● Experience with managing GCP / AWS / Azure Cloud services. Exposure to GCP is preferable.
● Experienced in handling L1, L2 and L3 support of Cloud infrastructure management
● Certification in Cloud Technologies like GCP / AWS / Azure will be an added advantage.
● Willingness to learn & cross skill in multi-cloud platforms is desirable.
● Strong experience managing in a structured environment using best in class processes and frameworks.
● Demonstrate the Solution Architecture: Planning, Assessment, Design & Implementation using effective POCs.
● Must have deployment experience with high availability, fault-tolerant and disaster recovery architectures
● He/She will be adept at understanding the high level solution designs and translate them into low-level deployment construct
● Should have experience in areas like Networking, Monitoring, Security.
● Has in-depth understanding on web, client/server, networking concepts, high availability and disaster recovery
● Must have experience with job scheduling, asset management, software distribution, content distribution
● Must have performed migrations either from on-premise to cloud platforms or between inter-cloud platforms.
● He/She should guide a team on deployments and ensuring the services are being delivered as per scope
● He/She will be adept at suggesting best practices and strive to consistently implement the same.
● He/She will be responsible to build repeatable artifacts such as deployment guides and solution blueprints for every deployment.
● He/She will have a strong understanding of microservices, cloud-native services, CI/CD pipelines etc.
● Must participate and conduct Monthly/Quarterly Service Delivery reviews
● Experienced in identifying and classifying incidents related to Cloud infrastructure and applications
● Must have worked with DevOps team and helped them with CICD, GIT, BitBucket and other DevOps tools
● Hand-on experience in Cloud and Application Migrations.
● Experience in Containerization, server less and API management.
● Must have an understanding of Cloud Service Provider architecture frameworks
● Own, participate and contribute to creation of repeatable artifacts, process improvement etc.
● Conduct and ensure Continuous Service Improvement.
● Ensure solutions are implemented as per the Statement of Work without deflections/deviations
● Must have experience with infrastructure hosting, migrations and disaster recovery for a large footprint.
● Must have working experience on services such as VM instances, Virtual Networks, Load Balancer, Logging,
● Monitoring Infrastructure and Applications, Patch Management, Security baselining etc.
● Understands and must have implemented databases on VM instances, exposure in database replication methodologies in addition to managed databases. ● Should have made significant contributions to cloud operations engineers, DevOps engineers in terms of knowledge sharing exercises
● Hands-on experience with databases will be an added advantage.
● VMWare knowledge is a plus, although not mandatory
Skillsets Requirements
● Should have at least 8+ Years experience in Information Technology, with at least 3+ years into customer facing role in a technical capacity or equivalent
● Must have 3+ years of demonstrated technical management experience in a supervisory role, hand-holding a group of cloud engineers
● Excellent communication, interpersonal and managerial skills
● Must be open to work in a 24x7 model, to support global customers across time zones.
● Work experience with Managed Service Providers is an advantage.
● Hands on experience managing Incident Requests, Service Requests and Change Requests.
● Experience in large scale releases/deployment and change management.
● Experience with ITSM tools (like Jira, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
● ITIL certification is highly desirable.
● Must have knowledge of ITIL processes.
