How you’ll make an impact:
- Perform routine inspections of components as planned
- Interpret specifications and inspection requirements to ensure inspections are correctly performed
- Perform data entry in appropriate system application (e.g. JDE) to record inspection results and identify issues and raise concerns to Quality Representative
- May collaborate with Engineers to support inspection activities for projects and investigations
- Collaborate with Quality Representative to document nonconformities when NCR is identified
- Collaborate with 3PL for operation activities and training of operators on good practices, whenever needed
- Process improvement initiatives
- Other incidental duties
What you'll need (Required):
- Holds H.S. Diploma or equivalent with 2 years’ related inspection experience
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite; JDE preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Moderate understanding of drawings and specifications in inspection
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and inspection software
- Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a team environment under general supervision and with instructions for routine work
- Detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignment to ensure desired outcomes
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
