The Associate Project Manager supports the management and delivery of client projects. This role assists senior project managers in coordinating project activities, facilitating communication across teams, and ensuring timely and high-quality project execution. The Associate Project Manager demonstrates a growing understanding of project management principles, Thermo Fisher services, and client needs, contributing to successful project outcomes through proactive collaboration and organizational excellence.
Project Coordination & Delivery
Supports the project manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities from initiation through completion.
Assists in managing timelines, deliverables, and documentation to ensure projects meet quality and compliance standards.
Prepares and maintains project-related documents such as study plans, status reports, and meeting summaries.
Helps coordinate internal resources and communicates progress updates to stakeholders.
Supports customer teleconferences, project meetings, and audits as needed, ensuring accurate follow-up actions are documented and completed.
Client Support & Communication
Acts as a key point of contact for day-to-day client communications under the guidance of a Project Manager.
Assists in gathering and understanding client requirements and translating them into actionable project steps.
Contributes to maintaining strong relationships with clients through professional communication and responsive follow-up.
Prepares client reports and assists in presenting project progress updates.
Financial & Administrative Support
Assists in tracking project budgets, expenses, and forecasting in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Helps review quotations and monitor changes to scope, timelines, or costs.
Supports accurate and timely project invoicing by coordinating with finance and accounting teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinates with internal departments including operations, quality assurance, and regulatory to ensure project requirements are met.
Communicates effectively across functions to address issues, clarify requirements, and support problem resolution.
Participates in cross-functional meetings and assists in implementing process improvements.
Compliance & Quality
Applies GxP and other regulatory standards to daily work activities.
Supports project documentation control and audit readiness.
Collaborates with quality teams to track and help close problem reports or deviations.
Professional Development & Team Contribution
Seeks opportunities to learn project management best practices and Thermo Fisher business processes.
Actively participates in team meetings, sharing insights and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
May assist in onboarding or mentoring new team members under supervision.
Experience & Qualification :
Bachelor's / Master degree in Pharmacy /Life Science / Science with a minimum of 3 to 5 Years of experience (in Clinical Trial, Clinical Packaging, Pharma Product Management, Clinical Supply Chain or Pharma /CRO Customer Service industry)
