About the Role

This senior academic position within the College of Medicine and Public Health offers an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate in medical education. The Associate Professor will contribute significantly to teaching excellence, educational leadership, and high-impact research. The role involves fostering partnerships, mentoring early-career academics, and enhancing the student experience through innovative practices and technologies.

  • Lead and deliver high-quality teaching across medical education programs, promoting excellence and innovation.

  • Drive impactful research, secure competitive funding, and publish in high-quality journals.

  • Provide academic leadership and mentorship, supporting early-career researchers and supervising research students.

  • Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with industry and professional bodies to enhance educational and research outcomes.

About You

You are a distinguished educator and researcher in medical education, with a strong track record of leadership, innovation, and collaboration. You bring expertise in curriculum development, flexible teaching methods, and mentoring, and are committed to advancing the field through impactful research and strategic partnerships.

  • Hold a PhD, EdD or equivalent, with a strong academic profile in medical education.

  • Demonstrated leadership in innovative teaching and curriculum development.

  • Proven success in research, including publications and competitive grant acquisition.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with national and international networks.
