We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York, NY. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role involves developing placement strategies by leveraging deep risk expertise and industry knowledge to create tailored solutions for complex client needs. It includes designing go-to-market approaches, advocating the value of placement services, and participating in pricing. The position oversees submission of coverage specifications, obtains carrier quotes under the “assist, advise, and assume” model, and consults with client executives to support retention and new business. Additionally, it ensures the accuracy of coverage binding and placement binders.
We will count on you to:
Develop placement strategies using extensive risk expertise and industry knowledge to create solutions for complex client needs.
Design go-to-market strategies, advocate for the placement function’s value, and participate in pricing services as needed.
Oversee submission of coverage specifications and obtain carrier quotes following the “assist, advise, and assume” transaction model.
Consult with client executives and teams to support client retention and drive new business opportunities.
Ensure accuracy of coverage binding and placement binders and lead complex placement and technical support activities for major accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with practice groups, insurance markets, clients, carriers, and underwriters, while staying informed on market developments to advise stakeholders effectively.
What you need to have:
3+ years of commercial casualty insurance experience
Active P&C license or able to obtain within 90 days of hire
Proficiency in MS Office

Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.The applicable base salary range for this role is $72,500 to $154,300.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
