We are currently seeking an Associate Manager, EDI Operations, to join our Stryker Customer Solutions business.
The Associate Manager, EDI Operations is responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation and execution of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations. This includes transaction monitoring, issue resolution, and partner onboarding. This role requires applying professional knowledge gained through practical experience to enable effective resolution of issues. In addition, this role ensures minimal disruption to business operations by leading proactive troubleshooting EDI-related issues and collaborating with internal teams such as IT, Middleware, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Billing, as well as external trading partners.
This position supports the strategic direction of our digital supply chain and customer integration initiatives, ensuring seamless and timely data exchange between internal systems and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Full management responsibility for an EDI operations team, including defining roles, mentoring, performance management, and contributing to compensation decisions.
Foster a high-performing team culture by leading with emotional intelligence, empowering direct reports, and driving results through collaboration.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to anticipate future departmental needs and foster operational improvements that support growth and team success.
Monitor and manage day-to-day EDI operations and metrics, exception reduction, partner onboarding, and issue resolution by managing expectations and scope.
Select, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external trading partners to ensure accurate and timely data exchange.
Support and execute EDI strategy aligned with business objectives, including new customer integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Represent the voice of the customer in EDI strategy and process enhancements.
Support, maintain and enhance EDI maps, configurations, and training documentation (SOPs).
Monitor team performance metrics and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy by demonstrating financial literacy.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies while, also evaluating and presenting opportunities to monetize or strategically reposition day to day EDI services.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, and/or related field required
6+ years of professional/related experience.
Strong understanding of EDI standards, protocols (AS2, FTP/SFTP, VAN), and transaction sets (e.g., 850, 810, 856).
Preferred:
2+ years of people leadership experience preferred
Master’s degree preferred
Strong working knowledge of Systems (PowerBI, SAP, Microsoft, Model N, EDI process and platforms)
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
$87,600.00 -186,700.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
