Job Description:

Responsibilities:
• Oversee month-end closing, journal postings and reconciliations..
• Provides complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.
• Provides analytics to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business.
• Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
• Identifies issues and proposes solutions.
• Represents finance on cross-functional teams.
• Prepares and reviews financial information related to indirect tax matters (VAT, WHT).
• Prepares and reviews local financial statement and any other related accounting compliance work.
• Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.
Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role (with audit experience is a plus)
• Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
• Experience in using SAP (is a plus).
Knowledge and Skills:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem solving ability.
• Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Good business acumen.
