About this role:  

The Associate Learning and Development Manager is an integral part of Gartner’s Global Services and Delivery (GS&D) Learning and Development team. In this position, you will support the design and delivery of programs for New Hires and Tenured associates in the Global Services and Delivery team. You will collaborate with team members, the GSD Executive Leadership team, HR Business Partners and other business unit stakeholders across the organization to deliver and consult on learning experiences. This role requires a high degree of independent problem solving, stakeholder management, facilitation, excellent communication skills and a client-first approach. 

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Develop, implement and facilitate learning and professional development programs for associates across the GS&D businesses 

  • Support the effort to define, design and develop the learning and development strategy for the Global Services and Delivery team 

  • Control and direct the learning experience and monitor the output quality and effectiveness 

  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into associates work behavior 

  • Ongoing refresh of existing programs and the design, creation, development and delivery of additional New Hire Training programs to support the effective onboarding of new hires 

  • Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders to support the continual gathering of information, feedback and input in order drive curriculum development/evolution 

  • The planning, development delivery and facilitation of all instructor-led programs 

  • Leverage learning technology as method to deliver training content (repeatable, scalable), and the development of technology-based learning and development solutions 

  • The collection and analysis of detailed feedback on all training sessions, with an emphasis on the quantifiable impact of the training programs 

  • Assist in the on-going development and refinement of the learning curricula that includes but is not limited to: 

  • The documentation of best practices, lessons learned and bright spots of high performing associates 

  • New and/or revised products and services 

  • Participate and provide project management leadership to highly complex training, event and business transformation projects and initiatives 

 

What you’ll need: 

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a client service role or in a training role focused on delivering training to a client services team 

  • Ability to evaluate needs and present effective solutions to business unit partners 

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of associates on various subject matters and to convey knowledge and ideas in a logical, interesting and engaging manner to others 

  • Project Management Experience with the ability to prioritize competing projects and initiatives 

  • Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to motivate, influence and coach individuals and leaders who do not have a direct reporting relationship to drive change 

  • Knowledge of proven training approaches, as well as the technology to support training programs 

  • Excellent organization skills, time management and task flexibility with the ability to change priorities as needed 

  • Solution oriented mindset, with the ability to understand how to manage priorities of multiple stakeholders and always look for a win-win 

  • MS suite (PPT, Project, Word, Excel) 

  • Learning Management System, learning technology, and survey software a plus
