We are seeking a talented individual to join our Analytics Solutions team at Marsh. Preferred locations for this role include New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, Cincinnati, and Washington DC. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As an Associate II - Risk Analytics, you will be part of Marsh’s Analytics Solutions division, which is focused on providing strategic advice and customized analyses to help clients address complex risk issues. You will work with a team of experts to deliver innovative digital and analytics solutions, supporting clients in quantifying and managing their risks. We will count on you to:

  • Support the delivery of risk quantification, modeling, and simulation capabilities for Marsh USA clients through high-quality analyses and peer review.
  • Engage with clients by presenting results, explaining methodologies, and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to the design, build, and maintenance of models used by the Actuarial Team for client analyses.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Marsh’s digital platforms and products for analytics delivery, ensuring actuarial best practices.
  • Identify new and existing business opportunities for clients of varying sizes.
  • Collaborate with team members on analytics delivery and presentation of findings to clients.

What you need to have:

  • 3+ years’ experience in analytics or actuarial roles in the insurance or risk management industry (4+ years preferred).
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong casualty actuarial analysis experience, including progress on actuarial exams through at least the Associateship level, with intent to attain the Fellowship level.
  • Expert proficiency with MS Excel; experience in a coding language is highly desirable.

What makes you stand out:

  • Strong presentation skills and consulting project experience, with the ability to translate data analysis results into clear recommendations for client risk decision-making.
  • 3+ years’ experience building risk models – examples include traditional property and casualty risk modeling, financial or commodity modeling, or ERM modeling.
  • 3+ years’ experience with client-facing responsibilities – project proposal presentations, and results and recommendations delivery.
  • Strong project management experience.

All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $96,300 to $205,200.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
