As part of GPS, you will contribute directly to the next chapter of growth for our platform and the firm, while collaborating with teams across the globe.

The Americas Product Development and Governance team within GPS is responsible for product management and development of BlackRock’s Collective Investment Funds, Canada Pooled Funds, active ETFs, and US mutual funds. This role is an Analyst or Associate-level hire based in San Francisco focused on our institutional fund ranges (Collective Investment Funds and Canada Pooled Funds) totaling over $1 trillion in assets under management. We partner closely with Product Strategy, Client Businesses, and Corporate Functions across product lifecycle events. The comparatively small size of the team offers the opportunity to assume significant responsibility as team members work closely with senior investment product professionals across all functions and assets classes and interface with other BlackRock teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the launch of new products from governance approvals through to launch, engaging with relevant stakeholders and ensuring the implementation of fund launches in a timely manner

  • Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of BlackRock's product processes, operating environment, and investment products

  • Coordinate ongoing product enhancements by partnering with internal and external stakeholders to create project plans and drive issues to resolution

  • Produce management reporting and fulfill ad hoc data requests

Skills and requirements:

  • BA/BS required

  • 2+ years of work experience

  • Demonstrated project management skills

  • Familiarity with Product Development and/or commingled fund structures is a plus

For San Francisco, CA Only the salary range for this position is USD$105,000.00 - USD$137,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
