Department Description

Global Pricing is part of the Product Management and Reconciliations Capability, which sits within GPS Delivery. The team plays a critical role in Fidelity’s client investments, running all our processes at fund level. The team are responsible for bulk dealing of trades, fund pricing confirmation, and onboarding both Fidelity and third-party funds across all Fidelity platforms.

Purpose of the Role

As a Global Pricing Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate fund pricing and smooth trade execution, directly supporting Fidelity’s global investment operations. Your work will help maintain client confidence, satisfaction, Capability delivery and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Run daily fund dealing cut-offs, bulk deal processing, fund pricing cut-offs, and process client instructions for Fidelity Onshore, Offshore, third party, Workplace Investment (WI) and Multi National Life Company Fund (MNLC) offerings.
  • Input, reconcile, and quality check deals to enable settlement with the third parties
  • Input and verify third-party fund prices
  • Assist corporate actions covering fund mergers, launches and closures of new and existing third-party providers and funds
  • Understand our critical processes and develop technical knowledge
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of regulatory requirements and ensure they are abided by
  • Communicate work progress, escalating any possible business-critical issues appropriately
  • Have the flexibility to cover various shift patterns between 8am - 8pm and cover at least one UK bank holiday shift per year (individual requests could be accommodated). Shifts are on rota starting at 8am-4pm until 12pm-8pm.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Financial services operations experience desirable
  • Critical attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Understanding and foresight to see the bigger picture and not solely focus on the checklist tasks
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Flexibility with time
  • Curious mind-set, with a willingness to want to improve historic processes
  • The ability to deliver an excellent service within agreed timeframes
  • Collaborative team player, while also able to work independently with little supervision
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn continuously in an evolving environment
  • Sound PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
