Position Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate alongside colleagues to find opportunities to accelerate the delivery of new business value through platforms and software and solve complex technical problems.  

  • Develop scalable, maintainable and innovative software applications.

  • Participate in Agile sprints and ceremonies; support rapid iteration and development.

  • Work closely with a variety of technical and engineering team members to drive solutions to meet business needs.

  • Experiment with emerging technologies and participate in brainstorming sessions to devise creative and innovative solutions.

  • Helping to continuously improve tooling and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous co-op and internship experience in software development.

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience

  • An understanding of the fundamentals of investment products, securities and financial services, specifically Wealth Management

  • Experience developing systems for external users or with financial systems.

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles and other Software Engineering procedures to enhance the pace of delivering and improving the quality of new features.  

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through the creative process.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and a strong ability to recognize critical path in the work you're doing.  

  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate technical vision, possibilities and outcomes.

  • Expertise in technologies such as Node.js, Next.js, Nest.js, React.js, GraphQL and JavaScript.

  • Knowledge in languages such as Agentic AI, Java, .NET Technologies (.NET Core, MS.NET, C#).

  • SQL Server, CA

  • Oracle, MS SQL, MongoDB

Working Arrangement

Hybrid

Salary range is expected to be between

$62,000.00 CAD - $112,000.00 CAD.
