About the Role
We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our CoA team. This role is critical in the budgeting and forecasting processes by leading the preparation and projection of sales and cost forecasting and supporting the management in the preparation and consolidation of general expenses (T&E, training, leases, customer service agents, etc.). The position will act as a support in the projection of freight-in, freight-out and warranties P&L lines. You will be running the sales scorecard, updating special sales tracks and supporting the development and updating of ad-hoc reports for the region and the preparation of the OPS monthly presentation. The ideal candidate will collaborate with operations, marketing and selling to ensure the timely delivery of information.
What You Will Do
Forecast & Budgeting:
- Support the monthly forecast and yearly budgeting processes by preparing the base to estimate sales and costs. You will be updating prices, unit std costs, commercial conditions and MDF´s estimations for the valuation of forecasted volume and consolidating the forecast with actuals to have full year information detailed by product and customer.
- You will review and validate SCM projection comparing current forecast results with budget, prior year and giving comments on main changed drivers.
- You will support the management by searching for general premises and updating economic premises of each country of the region for Budgeting cycle (Fx, GDP, Population, etc.).
- You will review, update and consolidate general expenses,
- You will take accountability of the projection of freight-in and freight-out and warranties P&L lines.
Others:
- You will support the monthly tracking of T&E expenses and review of results with CC´s owners to update the information for OPS and to get main comments on variations.
- You will help with the preparation of the monthly OPS presentation.
- You will support the finance side, the end-to-end product lifecycle by anticipating the exposure of inventory EOL and supporting strategies to accelerate the rotation of EOL products at the channel.
- You will prepare the scorecard report and will support the development and tracking of ad-hoc reports.
- You will help with the improvement of the forecasting process.
- You will act as a backup in the preparation of GARNER, EAR for regional projects.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar career.
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A.
- Proficiency in analysis of information, logical reasoning, and problem solving. Proven experience.
- Excellent communication.
- Proven English advanced, this position will be in communication with people in US and China.
- Demonstrable knowledge of use of excel (advanced) as a tool for analysis and track of results.
- Results oriented.
- Attention to details.
Bonus Points if You Have
- SAP, BI, or BPC knowledge.
- Experienced in process improvement.
