About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished leader to drive AT&T’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) Access Operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused equally on technical excellence and building high-performing teams. The ideal candidate brings deep IAM domain expertise, a passion for mentoring and developing people, and direct experience managing all aspects of team performance and HR responsibilities in a large, complex organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and Inspire: Direct and develop a high-performing IAM operations team. Mentor, coach, and build talent while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • People Management: Manage all aspects of personnel administration, including hiring, performance reviews, development planning, coaching, recognition, and resolution of HR matters.

  • Domain Expertise: Bring deep, hands-on experience across core IAM domains—Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), enterprise authentication platforms, and modern IAM technologies.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day IAM operations, ensuring best-in-class service delivery, process improvement, and operational reliability at an enterprise scale.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and technology partners, serving as a trusted advisor on IAM operations and strategy.

  • Large-Scale Impact: Thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed corporate environment, delivering results across multiple teams and time zones.

What You Bring

  • Extensive IAM Experience: Proven expertise in IAM operations, including direct management of application onboarding, access certification, and support for complex enterprise environments.

  • Exceptional Leadership: Demonstrated success managing, mentoring, and developing teams—with full lifecycle HR responsibilities (hiring, performance, development, and engagement).

  • Team Management Experience: Previous experience managing teams of 10–20 direct reports, with a focus on fostering high performance and professional growth.

  • Corporate Experience: Background in large enterprise settings, with the ability to navigate complex structures and drive results at scale.

  • Strong Communication: Ability to engage, influence, and build consensus with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strategic Mindset: Balance vision and execution, with a drive for operational excellence and innovation.

Our Associate Director-Cybersecurity earns between $155,400 - $233,200 annually.  Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
