About this Opportunity

Join our Asset Management team, a dynamic and client-facing function responsible for managing a £20bn+ loan portfolio within the Real Estate & Housing sector. Working closely with Coverage, Structuring, Credit Risk, and Portfolio Management teams, we deliver exceptional client service and robust risk management throughout the loan lifecycle.

This is a multi-dimensional role that combines Asset Management, portfolio reporting, and change management. You’ll take ownership of a commercial real estate (CRE) portfolio, ensuring optimal performance, proactive risk mitigation, and alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives. You’ll also support the Asset Management Director in driving and embedding change initiatives, enhancing processes, adopting new systems, and improving portfolio reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering a best-in-class client experience from loan close through to refinance.
  • Managing the full lifecycle of loan events including consents, extensions, additional borrowings, refinancings, covenant amendments, and annual renewals.
  • Liaising with legal counsel and internal execution teams to ensure seamless transaction delivery.
  • Reviewing client financial reporting and extracting key insights from management information and covenant compliance schedules.
  • Engaging directly with clients on loan and risk-related matters in collaboration with Coverage colleagues.
  • Identifying early warning signs of credit deterioration and presenting findings and recommendations at portfolio reviews.
  • Using data analysis and manipulation skills to enhance portfolio reporting and develop meaningful KPIs.
  • Representing Asset Management in CIB-wide projects, articulating business requirements and influencing partners to deliver outcomes aligned with Real Estate strategy.

Why Lloyds Banking Group?

  • Proven ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience in change management and influencing cross-functional project teams.
  • Line management experience with a passion for coaching and developing others.
