Barrhaven South Dental is seeking a personable, community-focused Associate Dentist to join our growing practice in one of Ottawa’s most rapidly expanding neighbourhoods. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values relationship-based dentistry, quality care, and the chance to genuinely build trust within a diverse patient population.

This role is ideal for a dentist who enjoys working with a multicultural patient base, is confident with restorative dentistry, and is eager to continue developing clinical skills with mentorship and support.

About the Opportunity

Schedule:
• 3 days/week (Mon & Wed AND Tues OR Thurs
• Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Part-time to start with long-term growth potential

Clinical Environment & Patient Base:
• 6 operatories, with 1.5 chairs dedicated to the associate
• Diverse and loyal patient population with strong community ties
• Support staff in place, including DA and hygiene team

Technology & Equipment:
• Abeldent practice management software
• iOS scanning
• Digital radiographs
• Pan/Ceph
• Soft-tissue laser
• Fully paperless

Clinical Scope & Development

This role offers exposure to a wide patient demographic and strong opportunities to refine and expand clinical capabilities.

Current Scope Includes:
✓ Bread & Butter Dentistry
✓ Basic Endodontics
✓ Basic Oral Surgery
✓ Invisalign
✓ Nitrous Sedation

Preferred Skills (Assets):
• RCT proficiency
• Surgical confidence
• Multilingual capabilities

Mentorship Available:
Open to mentoring new grads who are motivated, clinically curious, and eager to grow.
