What you’ll be doing

You will join CIBC’s Financial Institutions Group Cross-Sell Team to provide support to Relationship Managers and their portfolio of clients. This role will prepare you for a rewarding career as a Relationship Manager and strategic partner to some of the leading financial institutions.

How you’ll succeed

  • Run point with clients when onboarding new deposit accounts

  • Liaise with Client Banking Specialists, Financial Crimes Compliance and Treasury Management to deliver the Bank to our clients

  • Produce monthly reports detailing performance of Financial Institutions Group

  • Produce materials and pitchbooks in advance of client meetings

  • Produce research/profile reports on prospective clients

  • Maintain FIG team’s pipeline and project future growth

  • Track client activity across multiple product groups

  • Review client profitability and pricing strategies

  • Work and interact with experienced financial services professionals

Who you are

  • College degree/pursuing college degree in accounting, business, economics, or finance

  • Interest in financial institutions, including asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, and financial exchanges

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is necessary to complete many daily responsibilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to independently learn and problem solve

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $73,800 - $90,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
