Lori Pinkowski, one of the top Portfolio Managers at Canaccord Genuity and a well-known financial expert in the media, is seeking a full-time Client Services Associate to work in our new downtown Vancouver office.

As an integral member of the Pinkowski Wealth Management team, the Client Services Associate provides essential support in both administrative and client-facing capacities. This role plays a key part in preparing and processing client documentation, managing account maintenance, and delivering responsive, high-quality service to our clients.

You will demonstrate a strong understanding of registered and non-registered accounts, assist in supporting the team’s daily operations through client onboarding, tracking outstanding documents, and maintaining organized, up-to-date client records, helping ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. In addition, you’ll assist in the preparation of client portfolio reviews and investment plans.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working in Wealth Management and managing client relationships and assets;
  • Licensed as an Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), and a well-rounded knowledge of the securities industry considered an asset;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, take initiatives and multi-task;
  • Ability to work independently, and effectively with employees and clients at all levels;
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills: strong working knowledge of MS Office programs;
  • Experience with Dataphile, Salesforce and Conquest would be an asset.
     

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare new and existing client documentation – account opening, transfers, KYC updates, etc;
  • Process and follow-up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts – track outstanding documents, liaise with back-office teams;
  • Service existing clients – respond to client requests and emails in a timely manner;
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of registered accounts (RRSP, RRIF, LRSP, LIF, TFSA, FHSA, RESP), including contribution limits, withdrawal rules, and tax implications;
  • Demonstrate knowledge of non-registered accounts – understand taxation, reporting requirements, and investment implications;
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of client portfolio reviews and investment plans.
