Associate Account Executive, Strategic Accounts

About the role 

We’re seeking a hardworking Associate Account Executive to assist in new business acquisition and drive additional consumption among our strategic customers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Enterprise Account Executive and partner with other internal teams to accelerate business growth and deliver solutions that best serve our customers at MongoDB.

What you will be doing

  • Partner with the Senior Enterprise Account Executive to design and execute inbound and outbound campaigns from idea generation through to qualification and beyond
  • Build strong knowledge of our sales approach and products
  • Engage IT and business decision-makers via phone, email, and other channels
  • Act as a trusted advisor to help customers increase product engagement, achieve business objectives, and support their growth strategies
  • Nurture early-stage opportunities to build a strong future pipeline
  • Drive additional consumption and retention within existing accounts by identifying new use cases and promoting feature adoption
  • Work closely with Marketing teams to run seminars, support trade shows, and participate in other marketing-related events
  • Invest in your professional development, focusing on skills that will help you excel in your current role and prepare for future success
  • This is a 12-24 month inside sales and business development role with an expected path into our field sales organization

What you bring to the table

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or a customer-facing role; background in database or software preferred
  • Fluency in Korean and English
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding goals in a competitive environment (top 10% performer)
  • Ideally, experience working with accounts such as Hyundai Motor Group or similar large enterprises
  • Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, and tenacious team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working to a quota within a commission-based structure
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
