POSITION SPECIFICS
The Department of Accounting in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) invites applications for one or more Assistant Teaching Professor positions beginning in Fall 2026.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of courses in accounting and related disciplines, with a particular emphasis on accounting analytics. Instructional responsibilities may vary from year to year. In addition to instruction, the individual will support the teaching mission of the Department through regular office hours, student counseling and advising, involvement in student extra-curricular activities, and academic administration. Typical qualifications include advanced degrees (particularly in accounting or tax) and relevant work experience. The contract structure, including term, salary, and benefits, will be competitive and commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience. Onsite teaching is an essential function of the job.
