Main Job Purpose
The SHE Manager has overall responsibility for managing Occupational Health, Safety, Environment, and Physical Security agendas and frameworks to achieve excellence in offices, warehouses, sales teams, and logistics in scope, contributing to the Vision Zero strategy.
Works with Supply Chain, Business Operations (Logistics), Workplace Services, HR, Occupational Health, Customer Development (CD), and Communications to implement SHE strategy and improvement plans using data-driven and digital-first approaches.
Principal Accountabilities SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment):
1. Drive continuous implementation of SHE requirements in India + Nepal GTM area, ensuring SHE is understood as a business enabler.
2. Use digital risk assessment tools to evaluate hazards in offices and warehouses.
3. Prepare and share data-driven safety reports using analytics dashboards; leverage predictive analytics to prevent incidents.
4. Lead virtual and interactive training sessions using e-learning platforms and AR/VR simulations for safety awareness.
5. Implement digital audit tools for offsite safety assessments and event risk management.
6. Establish risk-based safety plans integrating IoT sensors for real-time monitoring.
7. Track OKRs and SHE strategy execution using cloud-based performance management systems.
8. Conduct root cause analysis using advanced analytics and digital investigation tools.
9. Monitor compliance via digital checklists and mobile apps; automate reporting for leadership.
10. Perform remote and onsite environmental audits using digital platforms.
11. Conduct emergency drills supported by simulation software; track improvements digitally.
12. Develop digital emergency response plans with scenario modeling tools.
13. Deliver onboarding and refresher training via LMS (Learning Management Systems).
14. Implement Safe Travel Program using telematics, AI-based driver behavior analytics, and predictive risk alerts.
15. Perform digital warehouse safety audits and pre-startup assessments using mobile audit apps.
16. Provide virtual training for 3rd Party staff via e-learning modules.
17. Deploy digital engagement tools for Merchandiser Safety Program to reduce injuries.
Experience Required
Essential:
• Experience in Supply Chain operations (warehouse, logistics, and office safety).
• Manufacturing and/or Engineering experience.
• Proven track record in data analytics and digital project management.
Preferred:
• 5–10 years of safety experience in warehouses, offices, and factories.
• Exposure to digital SHE tools and predictive analytics.
• Graduate Engineer from a reputed institute (B.E/B.Tech in Safety and Fire Engineering).
• Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety (PGDINDS) – IGNOU.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
• Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (BSS).
• Digital Skills:
o Proficiency in data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) for SHE performance dashboards.
o Knowledge of IoT-based safety monitoring systems for warehouses and logistics.
o Familiarity with Telematics and GPS tracking platforms for Safe Travel programs.
o Understanding of AI/ML applications in predictive safety analytics.
o Competence in digital risk assessment tools and cloud-based SHE management systems.
o Basic cybersecurity awareness for SHE-related digital platforms.
