Job Summary
As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will play an integral role in managing the retail operations at Xfinity Mobile Arena. You will oversee the operation of the retail locations including events and help coordinate product selections, manage team performance, and ensure an engaging retail environment that aligns with Comcast Spectacor’s standards. This role will partner with other departments to meet and exceed guest expectations while driving profitability.
Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field, preferred
- Retail management experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Experience in inventory management and POS systems
- Ability to lead, develop, and train teams
- This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills for success. As a manager, and the point of contact for retail customers, this position will require problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to meet and exceed desired expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day retail operations and staff which include opening and/or closing sporting events, family events and concerts
- Develop merchandising and visual presentation strategies
- Review sales data and inventory trends
- Prepare and maintain accurate inventory records, and adjust inventory if required
- Coordinate product needs for location replenishment with warehouse department
- Ensure compliance with Comcast Spectacor and venue-specific guidelines
- Assist in training of employees, and team performance
- Maintains a neat, clean, and organized sales floor, cash wrap, and fitting room to ensure environment is safe for teammates and customers.
- Draft schedules for the retail locations to be reviewed and approved by retail leadership.
- Promotes an environment that empowers others, nurtures education, and seeks ways to elevate the team culture and customer experience in the store.
