JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Assistant to provide daily executive and administrative support for the FOX Entertainment Marketing team, supporting the Studio and Content Distribution department head and the social media team. The Assistant, Marketing must have superb organizational skills, an eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, understand the industry, and a desire to work in television and film. It is important for you to be able to anticipate the needs of the executives, confidently multitask, and prioritize under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You must be a self-starter. We are looking for someone to grow with the company. 

A SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule a heavy calendar, coordinate, and maintain appointments/meetings and files, book travel arrangements/reservations, and coordinate all other special projects
  • Act as liaison with other internal departments and external contacts to execute assignments and represent the team in a professional and efficient manner
  • Provide support in preparation for festivals, markets, and conferences, and assist with onsite events
  • Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international) and other administrative duties (i.e., processing travel and expense reports, filing, etc.) for the department head
  • Assist with departmental projects, social posts, and events as needed.
  • Support the social media team with toolkit creation, asset management, and distribution, and campaign ideation

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 1+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Previous entertainment experience
  • Interest in marketing and social media
  • Team player who operates in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly to changing business needs
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote
  • Able to organize and establish administrative procedures independently, draft correspondence and reports, and work under pressure
  • Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives
  • Ability to multitask
  • Office coverage requires extended work hours – must be available to work overtime

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $21.00-25.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
