The Treasury General Account (TGA) Network operations team is seeking an Assistant Manager to provide supervision and direction in the organization, documentation, and successful execution of a variety of projects including monthly monitoring and compensation of financial institutions supporting the program, modernization efforts, and management and executive status reporting. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for applying project and program management disciplines to the current modernization effort and will serve as a primary point of contact for U.S. Treasury, Bureau of Fiscal Service (Fiscal Service), financial institution and federal agency stakeholders. The position will be responsible for monitoring the daily operational activities of the team and proactively escalating potential issues with financial institutions and agencies as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and define process deliverables and project artifacts for the TGA team including the project Kanban and project charters
  • Review all communications and SOPs, ensuring accuracy and updates are completed in real time
  • Coordinate with leadership to ensure project deliverables and timelines are effectively executed and communicated to Senior Leadership as necessary
  • Perform information gathering, high level assessments and analysis for complex projects working with various stakeholders
  • Coordinate with the team to develop project summaries and executive level reporting as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationship management with Fiscal Service, Agencies and Financial Institutions (FIs) stakeholders
  • Encourage the team to constantly review existing practices and identify opportunities for additional/improved/automated solutions to improve efficiency
  • ·Hold team members accountable ensuring operations Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations are met
  • Provide guidance, direction, coaching, and development counseling to team members to meet individual and department objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Management, or related fields or commensurate experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in project management or management of staff
  • Manage numerous projects and work processes
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with a focus on working effectively in a team environment
  • Skilled at navigating complex stakeholder relationships with diplomacy and responsive communication tailored to different audiences
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Appropriately handle sensitive information
  • Solid knowledge of project leadership methods and practices.
  • Experience in presenting complex information to various audiences. ·
  • Perform involved independent research and analysis
  • Knowledge and experience with Tableau or Power BI.
  • Travel (5%)
  • Position requires US Citizen

Salary: $95,300 - $121,500
