Job Description

Summary:

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will support the development, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across SEO, web, social, and B2B aggregator platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital strategies with broader marketing and business goals, analyze performance data, and continuously improve campaign ROI. You’ll also contribute to content creation, campaign tracking, analytics, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search visibility and organic traffic for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s web properties.

2. Conduct technical SEO audits using tools like SEMrush or Google Search Console; identify and resolve crawl errors, broken links, and site performance issues.

3. Collaborate with content, web, and product marketing teams to create SEO-friendly local landing pages and blog content.

4. Manage web merchandising campaigns across key website sections for all business units as per the brand guidelines.

5. Collaborate with global stakeholders for updates/new technologies/enhancement on the website.

6. Manage and optimize Thermo Fisher’s product catalog across multiple B2B aggregator platforms and ensure all product listings adhere to platform-specific guidelines for metadata, images, and content structure.

7. Design and implement account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting key accounts across pharma, biopharma, biotech, and academic segments using Demandbase.

8. Collaborate with sales, product marketing, and regional business units (BUs) to align ABM initiatives with revenue goals and pipeline objectives.

9. Measure and report performance across all digital channels using Adobe Analytics, Power BI, or Excel

10. Develop and implement data-driven optimization strategies to improve returns on investment, lead quality, and pipeline contribution from digital programs.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, biotech, chemistry, or related fields is preferred.

2. 6–8 years of experience in B2B digital marketing or product management, preferably in a global matrixed organization.

3. Experience working on Digital Marketing platforms and tools, eg Workfront, AEM, SEMRush, Google, Social Media platforms, Adobe Analytics etc

4. Excellent proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and PowerBI.

5. Thorough with strong organizational skills, able to thrive under tight deadlines and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently

6. Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

7. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and high attention to detail.
