Assistant Manager - Design
Job Description Summary
This role is responsible to lead the end-to-end design process for projects, from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with project goals, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

About the Role:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders for design-related matters.
- Review, vet, and approve consultant design packages for completeness, compliance, and coordination with project requirements.
- Organize and lead design coordination workshops to proactively identify and resolve cross-disciplinary clashes and integration issues.
- Facilitate Design Review Meetings at Schematic, Design Development, and Construction stages, ensuring timely closure of comments and package finalization.
General Responsibilities
- Evaluate specifications, and construction documents for feasibility, constructability, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and manage design schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of design milestones.
- Support risk management by identifying potential design issues early and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Conduct site visits as required to verify design implementation and resolve design-related construction challenges.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
- 10+ years of experience in design management for large-scale or mixed-use projects, ideally within a PMC or consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination, construction documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in design software, digital planning tools, and MIS systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
