What are we looking for?

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Corporate Development to assist with new bank partner acquisition across CLM. This person will be responsible for providing highly effective financial evaluations, commercial designs, and rigorous analysis necessary to structure profitable, long-term partnerships.

What are we expecting from this role?

  • Design and develop the compensation and commercial schemes for new bank partners, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and profitability targets.

  • Develop and present comprehensive compensation/commercial design proposals for internal management, group stakeholders, and bank partners.

  • Build and maintain robust financial models for evaluating potential new partnerships and distribution initiatives.

  • Coordinate internally (including group functions) and externally with bank partners to align on and validate commercial design structures.

  • Perform detailed financial analysis and evaluation of commercial designs and selected distribution initiatives.

  • Collaborate with various company-wide functions to collect and analyze necessary data for compensation design and justification.

  • Coordinate with Legal/Compliance teams and other functions for the review and approval of distribution agreements.

  • Evaluate variances against approved commercial designs (e.g., Banca deals) and suggest improvements post-implementation.

  • Keep track of cost/benefit assumptions and analysis for new partnership acquisition efforts.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a highly quantitative field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, or Business Development, preferably within the Financial Services or FinTech sectors.

  • Strong quantitative and advanced Excel skills (essential for financial modeling).

  • Proven experience in building and manipulating complex financial models.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Strong numerical presentation and communication skills, capable of conveying complex analysis clearly.

  • Prior experience in Insurance, Actuary, Banking, Financial Analysis, or from a Big 4 Audit firm is a significant advantage.

  • ACCA or CFA is an advantage.
