We’re looking for an Assistant Manager, Compliance Enablement and Innovation to join our Integrated Compliance Services team at MBPS. In this role, you play a highly skilled and key supporting role in the execution of strategic Compliance initiatives led by the Manager, Compliance Strategy Management. This role contributes to the design and delivery of Compliance innovative, strategic, and engagement programs, training materials, and communication strategies that promote awareness, innovation, and alignment with the organization’s long-term compliance goals.
Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Initiative Support
Assist in the execution of Compliance initiatives by supporting project planning, documentation, and coordination activities.
Collaborate with the Senior Manager to track initiative milestones, gather stakeholder input, and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
Contribute to the identification of process improvement opportunities and support the implementation of corrective actions and remediation plans.
Process Improvements, Process Audits, and Remediation Support
Supports in process audits and assessments by collaborating with stakeholders to identify key gaps, operational inefficiencies, and any risks not covered by compliance testing such as the business processes, third party management, operational efficiency, strategic alignment etc
Assist in documenting findings and support the development of corrective action plans (CAPs).
Track remediation progress and help ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
Contribute to the analysis of root causes and recommend enhancements to prevent recurrence.
Communication & Innovation
Support the development and maintenance of communication platforms (e.g., newsletters, dashboards, presentations) to promote initiative visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Develop engaging compliance communication materials.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with regulatory and strategic objectives.
Contribute innovative ideas to enhance compliance awareness, culture, and strategic alignment.
Assist in organizing compliance events such as town halls, brown bag sessions, and conferences.
Documentation & Reporting
Support the documentation of Compliance strategies and frameworks, and innovation proposals.
Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and visual materials for leadership and stakeholder presentations.
Maintain organized records of initiative progress, feedback, and outcomes.
Other related tasks that may be assigned.
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in enablement roles with a focus on process improvement, innovations, remediation planning within financial services or a related industry.
Demonstrated experience in developing strategic initiatives.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to Banking, Finance, Insurance, Accounting or related course
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications related to strategy, project management, innovation, process improvements/ audits, is a plus
Strong communication and process design skills, process mapping, with the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging communication materials.
Creative problem-solving and design thinking capabilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in design and training tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of management in the organization.
Ability to set priorities; making sound decisions and managing overlapping timelines and competing demands.
Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services industry and regulatory environment with an advanced understanding of the Company’s business
Ability to represent business internally within the company and externally outside of the company (e.g. regulators, industry peers).
