POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of Order Fulfillment Manager, this position is responsible for driving VES methodologies with accountability through daily management of Safety(S), Quality(Q), Delivery(D), Inventory(I), Productivity(P) and VES related tools in Warehouse Management for our Asia Distribution Center (ADC) in Rayong, Thailand.
This position will be responsible for leading and optimizing warehouse operations for a complex, high-volume manufacturing and distribution facility that supports global customers. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant handling of hazardous materials, a large SKU portfolio, and export shipments across multiple geographies including managing inbound, storage, inventory control, and outbound operations, ensuring SQDIP performance through Daily Management and lean problem solving (Kaizen/VSM). The role builds a high‑performing team, partners closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Production, Quality, Import/Export, Customer Service, and 3PLs, and drives compliance with trade/customs, corporate/company rules, and site SOPs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safety
Develop and sustain a safety‑first culture; 5S and EHS practices with strong focus on chemical handling, spill prevention, segregation of hazardous materials, and PPE compliance.
Ensure adherence to Company Rules, Regulations, and Procedures.
Compliance & Quality
Oversee trade/customs compliance touchpoints (documentation accuracy, DG, HS codes) in partnership with the Import‑Export Coordinator and logistics providers.
Ensure compliance with Thai Free Zone regulations, IATA/IMDG/DOT hazardous goods standards, and global EHS requirements.
Ensure compliance with chemical handling/staging per ADC SOPs, partner with Quality on nonconforming product control and proper documentation.
Maintain documentation and readiness for internal/external audits (customs, regulatory, corporate).
Operations & Inventory Management
Lead receiving, put-away, binning, replenishment, picking/packing, and shipping processes; achieve target dock‑to‑stock, order cycle time, and OTD metrics via Daily Management.
Own inventory accuracy (cycle counts, root cause & corrective actions) and warehouse master data discipline in ERP/WMS; champion standard work and visual controls.
Maintain flow integration with upstream manufacturing and downstream distribution by VSM, SW, and SOP references.
People Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, coach, and develop a warehouse team (frontline leads & operators); set clear goals, conduct GEMBA‑based coaching, and build problem‑solving capability.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork.
Plan and align workforce labor/shift coverage for volume peaks; drive cross‑training, skills matrices, and safe equipment & machinery operation certifications.
Cross‑functional & External Collaboration
Partner with Planning/Order Management, Production, Quality, Finance, Customer Service, and Import‑Export to balance service, cost, and inventory goals.
Ensure global distribution performance to meet diverse customer requirements.
Balance complexity of small-lot shipments, large export containers, and special handling of hazardous products.
Support global ERP/WMS initiatives (Oracle EBS/Fusion) and local continuous improvements to data integrity, scanning, and transaction accuracy.
Continuous Improvement
Identify areas for improvement in warehousing, recommending and implementing changes to streamline operations and improving service levels.
Lead Kaizen to remove waste across inbound‑to‑outbound value streams (VSM), implement standard work, and stabilize processes via Daily Management visuals and Kamishibai.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) with SQDIP, order fulfillment rates, and customer satisfaction.
Use data analytics to drive decision-making and propose solutions to improve overall warehousing efficiency & effectiveness.
Contribute to cost optimization through packaging, freight, and warehouse productivity improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in management of supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or related field.
8+ years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing with hazardous chemicals and complex SKUs.
Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (Oracle is advantageous).
Advance Excel
Proven experience in hazardous goods handling, IMDG/IATA/DOT compliance, and export logistics.
Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and manage diverse teams.
Continuous improvement mindset with Lean/Kaizen experience.
Good business communication skills in Thai and English.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & CONDITIONS:
The duties and responsibilities are generally performed in on-site office environment and warehouse area.
Daily activities may involve hazardous chemicals in proximity.
The position generally involves frequent sitting, occasional standing, occasional walking.
The environmental conditions generally include ambient inside temperature with sufficient lighting levels.
The occasional use of protective clothing, ESD and PPE is required in accordance with workplace conditions.
