Tessera is seeking a motivated and hard working Assembly/Production Worker with a positive/helpful attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Measure and cut wires to specified lengths.
Strip wire ends and attach wire terminals (e.g., ring terminals, ferrules, or other connectors.)
Cut and prepare plugs or cables, including splitting insulation and attaching terminals.
Bundle and organize completed wire assemblies using tape.
Assemble and glue windows into shower tubes or similar components as required.
Perform basic visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of assemblies.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow safety procedures.
Report any defective materials or assembly issues to the supervisor.
Assist with other production or assembly tasks as assigned.
All other duties as Assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required.
0 – 3 years of previous experience preferred.
Combination of experience and education will be considered.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state driver’s license is preferred with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
