Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Workplace Coach) to support Fabrication Skill Enhancement Center team located in Salt Lake City and West Jordan, Utah.

This position is for manufacturing/fabrication Workplace Coaches with knowledge/experience in all or some of the following: Composite layup (pre/post cure), Fabrication of assemblies, System Installation, Production Certifications, Production Systems, and other general shop/fabrication practices at Boeing Salt Lake City/West Jordan.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers

• Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria

• Analyzes and interprets data

• Provides feedback on assessment results and finds opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk

• Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives

• Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans

• Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years’ experience in the aerospace fabrication industry

• 5+ years’ experience with the Boeing Production System to include utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications

• 3+ years’ experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading teams

• 3+ years’ experience with Lean principles and continuous improvement

• Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 10+ years’ experience in the aerospace fabrication industry

• 5+ years’ experience with the Boeing Production System

Summary pay range: $87,000 - $154,000
