Join Ecolab’s Global Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) division as an Area Manager. Global QSR delivers a comprehensive cleaning and food safety program developed specifically for the quick service, fast casual and small footprint markets, partnering with our customers to identify cleaning and sanitation opportunities while reducing food safety risks and the spread of foodborne illnesses.
The Area Manager South Region, plays an instrumental role in developing the QSR Europe business in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Andorra. This diverse role takes the lead in developing new regional business, working with our corporate account team to develop and retain our considerable base of existing global QSR customers and manage the program and service offer through management of our sales and field team based in region South. Central to success is the ability to develop and empower high performing teams, work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and cultivate excellent customer relationships by demonstrating the value that Ecolab and our QSR specific offer delivers.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Lead safety culture, ensuring associates put safety at the forefront of all activities, input into safety leadership, metrics and initiatives
Develop and communicate a successful area growth strategy to increase profit
Manage sales in the area by aligning team and utilizing key strengths
Leverage internal relationships to grow existing business
Manage new customer pipeline as well as maintain and develop existing customer relationships to drive growth
Control regional P&L and report key financial and team performance data (actual and forecast)
Develop and lead product/program tests, implementations, rollouts with field team to deliver compelling programs to current and potential customers
Support and execute pricing, innovation and product penetration targets
Proactively advise senior management in division and market on opportunities to maximize business relationships or improve effectiveness across internal value chain
Lead employees in their areas of responsibility in accordance with supervisor and corporate guidelines
Provide active and continuous talent development for direct reports in the area to create and maintain value in the industry
Represent the QSR division in a regional leadership capacity and as part of the cross divisional/function leadership team

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
University degree in business-related subject combined with 5+ years’ experience in a B2B field sales environment or B2C QSR Restaurant Management or Restaurant Headquarters Operations leadership
Ideally 3+ years of cross-national management experience directing multiple field sales professionals
Strategic vision and ability to communicate effectively
History of negotiating, winning, growing and developing new business
Ability to understand regional differences and cultures
Organized and result oriented working manner combined with the ability to prioritize business needs
Must have well-developed leadership qualities with an ability to create successful working relationships with internal stakeholders
Strong commercial acumen and finance skills, good understanding of P&L drivers
High proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is a must. Italian and or Portuguese considered a Plus
Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, SalesForce or other CRM platforms
