What is the opportunity?

Wealth Management Data & AI is responsible for delivering a global data foundation and innovative AI capabilities across all of Wealth Management’s global businesses.

Complementing our existing Data & AI roadmap, we’re building an applied AI lab, with a mandate to explore breakthrough AI methods and turn them into testable prototypes and capabilities to support our 6,000 wealth management professionals globally.

We are looking to hire an awesome Applied AI Data Engineer to help us bridge data engineering and ML operations. You’ll be the critical enabler for our Applied AI team, helping build out a robust and agile data infrastructure and MLOps pipelines for us to explore and build prototypes that will elevate both the client experience and advisor productivity—reshaping the competitive landscape of wealth advisory services globally.

What will you do?

  • Build and maintain data pipelines that provide our AI with clean, structured and unstructured data at scale

  • Collaborate with Applied AI Scientists to understand their data needs, convert them to engineering solutions, and unblock innovation workflows

  • Ensure data governance, security, compliance standards are met across all innovation activities

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for AI models to ensure reliability and performance

  • Contribute to a growing culture of innovation by evaluating and learning about emerging data and AI engineering technologies and approaches

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • Passion for solving open problems in real-world contexts using data, and learning and sharing about new approaches and developments in AI

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software/data engineering, or a related technical field

  • 4–8 years of experience in data/MLOps engineering or related roles, including a combination of graduate training, academia, public sector, and/or industry experience

  • Strong programming skills Python and expertise developing APIs, services, and reusable frameworks that integrate with enterprise platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake)

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with AI scientists, technology teams, and business stakeholders

Nice to Have:

  • Collaborative innovation experience in cross-functional teams

  • Experience with data engineering best practices (e.g., schema management, data quality, data governance) and modern MLOps practices and tools.

  • Knowledge of financial services or wealth management
