Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic application-specific support issues.
- Install and maintain enterprise and laboratory application software, including dedicated hardware.
- Complete change requests and qualifications.
- Liaise with internal groups and vendors to determine and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- General understanding of server administration and architecture (Windows Server, Linux).
- Ability to interact with relational databases (primarily Oracle, some SQL Server).
- Basic support knowledge of desktop operating systems and efficiency applications (MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio).
Required Skills:
Working Conditions:
- Office and laboratory environments with exposure to electrical office equipment.
- Travel up to 60-80% of the time for Labs-based staff.
- Exposure to biological fluids and the requirement to use personal protective equipment.
