As an Application Support DevOps Engineer for Managed File Transfers, you will be responsible for providing consulting and expert technical domain knowledge to both users and IT employees, covering all aspects of system applications including development, maintenance, support, selection, configuration, observability, testing, implementation and/or enhancements. This is an opportunity to further develop your skills while implementing DevOps practices to the MFT application stack, specifically around automation of configuration, deployments, observability, testing, and implementation. You may also be required to provide services to a larger program of work managed outside the squad.
Please note: - This position requires participation in an afterhours on call support roster.

5+ years’ experience in application configuration and support.
Previous work experience in business application support within an Application Management or Support environment.
Good understanding of software/application development principles, lifecycle, models, and application development concepts.
Knowledge and experience of DevOps as part of Agile software engineering.
Experience in providing first-level support to businesses in a critical role.
Able to build working relationships within the business and with external suppliers and 3rd party vendors
Ability to troubleshoot and provide support; technical aptitude with the ability to grasp technical concepts and details.
Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to learn new skills and adapt quickly.
