Application Expert – National Role

We’re now looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Application Expert to join our UK team. This national role plays a key part in supporting our sales teams, helping customers select the right chemical, method, and equipment solutions to meet their unique hygiene and cleaning challenges.

As an Application Expert, you’ll be the trusted technical partner to customers and sales teams — applying your knowledge of cleaning chemistry to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to support product innovations, conduct site visits and field trials, deliver training, and enhance customer satisfaction across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Define optimal chemical, equipment, and dosing solutions for customer needs.
Support sales in customer acquisition and retention through expert consultation.
Provide technical training and guidance for new product launches.
Collaborate with Product Managers and R&D on product development.
Deliver timely, accurate responses to technical queries.
Conduct field trials and share feedback for innovation.
Promote safe, sustainable cleaning practices aligned with Diversey’s values.

About You

Degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline (Essential)
Strong understanding of chemical and hygiene applications
Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
Practical, solutions-focused mindset with a collaborative approach
Able to travel nationally and work cross-functionally
Full UK Driving License (Essential)
