Role: APAC Social Media Analytics - Agency Partner Scope of Services and Deliverables

Location: India (Remote)

 

About the role:

The YouTube brand is complex and dynamic, necessitating critical insights into brand perceptions, social trends and behaviors. This scope outlines the social media marketing analytics services required to analyze and define insights related to brand perception, YouTube usage, and content trends and the ability to translate earned and owned insights into tangible implications for strategy development or tactical optimization.

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Social Data Analysis for Business & Marketing:
    • Utilize social data to uncover actionable insights that inform business, marketing and social decisions.
    • Collect social data using industry-standard listening and management tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Tubular)
      • Apply boolean logic, including proximity and search order commands, for precise data retrieval.
      • Leverage Natural Language Processors (NLPs) to decipher sentiment accuracy and sentiment subjects.
      • Localize keywords for the development of complex boolean queries.
      • Build and maintain social audiences for focused monitoring and insights generation.
    • Develop strategies for identifying trends and searching for relevant topics.
    • Provide analysis to track and assess rapid escalation scenarios.
      • Implement crisis alert reporting with clear and concise communication to various management levels.
    • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, translating data into actionable insights, with business-relevant conclusions
    • Extract insights from data and communicate/present key findings effectively to non-technical audiences.
    • Synthesize, track, and organize data into clear visual formats.
    • Develop and maintain a clear, consistent set of documents and protocols for effective communication of crisis management, business insights, and learnings to stakeholders.
    • Manage and own insights and measurement roadmaps and plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
    • Apply in-depth knowledge of owned social analytics (native and third-party) for impact measurement, optimization modeling, and strategic planning audits.
    • Integrate multiple datasets (e.g., social, first-party behavioral data, trackers, syndicated data, primary research) to provide a holistic view across various YouTube business areas.
  • Operational Improvement:
    • Proactively identify operational gaps within social analytics processes and recommend solutions.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Coordinate and track project requests between the agency and internal teams.
    • Project management effectively to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
    • Prepare comprehensive briefs for agencies.
    • Review agency-executed projects and reports to ensure reporting and analysis integrity.
  • Social Data Management
    • Develop issue alerts, dashboard integrations, and historical data access through knowledge of social APIs and server-side storage.
    • Write scripts and functions within data housing platforms to process and analyze data from multiple data sources, including index/match and sumproduct functions.

 

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Experience: Senior/Expert/Team-lead level social media and video platform analytics (e.g., X, Meta, YouTube, TikTok) for owned and earned data.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including basic automation and formula writing.
  • Analytical Acumen: Deep interest in social media content and strong written communication skills for concise summaries and recommendations.
  • Regional Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the APAC region with the ability to manage across cultures.
  • Language Skills (Preferred): Ability to speak or understand a secondary language such as Hindi, Bahasa, Japanese, or Korean.
  • Driven, proactive, and enthusiastic, with a passion for new technologies and AI.
  • Proficient understanding of AI tools is beneficial, with a keen ability to learn and leverage these tools.
