The ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER, is responsible for providing cross-functional support of all accounts payable needs of the business, daily interaction with the AP team, and providing guidance throughout the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage team of five Accounts Payable Specialist
  • Mange team to review, code, enter, and approve invoices timely
  • Review new suppliers which are added by staff members
  • Help team to review and approve expense reports, help Amynta staff with expense report questions.
  • Review checks generated from in various systems
  • Validate that various mailboxes are managed and items a cleared timely
  • Interact with Executive Management on any AP items that come up

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)

  • 7+ years of accounts payable experience (Required)
  • 1099 submittal experience (Required)
  • Experience complying with accounts payable policies, processes, and controls
  • Strong organizational ability
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience working with Workday ERP environment is desired
  • Experience working and interacting across multiple departments and businesses
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

MINIMUM JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expert mastery of the English language, both written and verbal, and ability to communicate effectively with others, including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members
  • Ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals
  • Ability to solve accounts payable problems and deal with a variety of ambiguous variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
